05/13/2008 - The online market in Poland is growing at a fast pace – a great chance for advertising companies

ARBOmedia AG analyses the Polish internet activities and focuses the online market on the Slavic country

Munich, 13th Mai 2008. In a current market analysis, ARBOmedia AG was able to determine that the internet market in Poland is taking on more significance within the sector of advertising marketing.

The most important results of the analysis:
• The number of internet users of the Eastern European country increased fivefold from 2002 to 2006, i.e. from almost eight percent to 39 percent.
• Online advertising has achieved the greatest growth compared to the other sectors of the media.
• Alone in 2007, the number of unique users of the ARBOinteractive Poland increased threefold.

The enormous increase in users induced ARBOmedia AG to reinforce their attentions on the online-market. Marcin Wozniak, Division Manager of Internet ARBOinteractive, stated: "The increased investments alone induce us to further expand advertising marketing in the internet". Whereas in 2000 only 4.5 million Euro was used for online advertising, in 2007 it was already 84.7 million Euro.
It is for this reason that online advertising is the fastest growing form of advertising.

ARBOmedia AG is Poland΄s largest advertising marketing company, alone in May of last year more than 12 million users visited the ARBOmedia AG site.

Marcin Wozniak added: "Increasing numbers of people are using the worldwide web in Poland and a large portion now use the internet as a means of obtaining information and for communication. For us, as an advertising company, the Polish market has a very large share on our European portfolio. Also here we will intensify future investment."
