Munich, June 29, 2004 - Stefan Barchfeld (32) is the new Managing Director of the ARBOmedia Deutschland GmbH, the German office of the international ad sales house. He follows Stefan Völcker who leaves the company at his own request after more than four years of a positive business development.
In addition to successfully continue the marketing of advertising space, Stefan Barchfeld will explore new business segments within the classical media with the goal to expand ARBOmedia's portfolio.
Barchfeld comes from the media sales business. During his 12 years' business career, he had various leading positions in the sales departments of Kabel 1, ProSieben, MTV and Neun Live. In his last function, Barchfeld was Unit Director of the RayCon Consulting Group which he quits at his own request in order to face new challenges within the scope of his new activities for the ARBOmedia Deutschland GmbH. Barchfeld's tasks with RayCon Consulting Group will be conducted by the two Managing Directors Werner Katzengruber and Thomas Ebrahim. "With Barchfeld we lose a precious executive, a competent manager and media specialist. We wish him a lot of success with ARBOmedia", Katzengruber states.
Dr. Georg Bogner, Chairman of the Board of ARBOmedia AG says: "We are glad to have found an advertising sales specialist with Mr. Barchfeld who will support ARBOmedia to extend its activities in the TV and online area, but also in other media segments on the German market.
