10/14/2004 - ARBOvision Extends Business Model with New Managing Director

Munich, 14 October 2004 – ARBOvision, the subsidiary of the international media sales house ARBOmedia AG, extends its business model. With its new Managing Director, Alexander Sigl, the company offers bespoke services for the media and direct marketing industry.

After having successfully licensed its advertising sales system AdLounge to Markiza TV, the biggest private TV channel in Slovakia, ARBOvision enlarges its business segments. In addition to the marketing of the two sophisticated media management systems AdLounge and ProLogue, ARBOvision with immediate effect offers their clients some attractive added values regarding the implementation of their marketing and communication goals. The main focus are dialogue oriented cross marketing projects which will be developed and evaluated on a company independent and cross media basis. The point hereby is not to implement classical cross media approaches, but to develop brand driven and integrated concepts for a custom-tailored topic.

With the reorientation of its business activities, ARBOvision was able to win Alexander Sigl as new Managing Director. According to his career, 30 year old Sigl brings in his professional experience. After miscellaneous leading positions, e. g. with the AOL Deutschland GmbH and the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, he has been working for the MM Merchandising Media GmbH as Director Account Management over the last three years. In the latter position, he was responsible for the development and the communication of cross media and cross marketing strategies.

Against the background of stagnating media investments, Sigl is positive about a big market potential: “My activity with ARBOvision focuses on topics around the enrichment and integration of brands as well as reference marketing – we call it dialogue oriented cross marketing. The challenge is to enter into a measurable dialogue with the target groups by means of custom-tailored concepts. We see ourselves as a partner for the industry, the content provider as well as the media.”
