05/02/2001 - ARBOmedia Combines Its Resources on July 1, 2001 - adMaster network Will Be Integrated into the Brand ARBOmedia

Munich, May 2, 2001. On July 1, 2001, the online advertising marketer adMaster network will be fully integrated into ARBOmedia.net AG, the central brand for all online and offline sales activities of the paneuropean media company. Marketing measures will accompany this final step in the integration of adMaster network into ARBOmedia. In January 2001 ARBOmedia took over 100% of the online advertising marketer. ARBOmedia.net AG will complete is range of services through its subsidiary ARBOvision, which markets broadcasting rights, sponsoring, merchandising, and digital content.

From July 1, the name ARBOmedia will symbolize cross-media, independent, and pan-European sales of online and offline advertising. On this date the company will combine its forces in the offline sector, covering advertising sales on TV, radio, and the print media, as well as in the online sector that has been covered till now by adMaster network. In doing this ARBOmedia.net AG wants to underpin its cross-media approach.

Under the umbrella brand name ARBOmedia, the well-known online advertising sales services such as banner sales, campaign optimization, profiling, and "advertainment" will be continued and linked more closely to the sales of advertising in the classical media. The adMaster network name will disappear. "A maximum of service for our international clients and mandates in 15 countries is our highest priority. Therefore we are combining our forces," said Harald Albrecht, CEO of ARBOmedia.net AG.

ARBOmedia's subsidiary ARBOvision will round off and complete the company's range of services. ARBOvision specialises in marketing broadcasting rights, sponsoring, and merchandising. In addition, the international marketing agency serves its clients'' growing needs for digital content. A special service in this area is the implementation of refinancing models in order to explore new revenue sources for companies.

In preparation for the integration of adMaster network and ARBOmedia, a number of activities are planned for the coming months: E-cards, mailings to customers, the organization of an online lottery with a DEM 20,000 Opel Corsa as the prize, and representation at InternetWorld in Berlin.

AG ARBOmedia.net AG has been listed on the Frankfurt stock exchange since May 2000 and is the largest independent pan-European marketer of advertising space, media rights, sponsoring, merchandising, and digital content.

Through ARBOmedia, the company markets advertising in the off- and online sector as well as in outdoor media. ARBOmedia has a portfolio of 25 television stations (among them, the public television stations in the Czech Republic and Romania), various print media, 30 radio stations, and 500 websites with 450 million page impressions per month, as well as outdoor media, such as the airport channels of Blickwerk. Moreover, ARBOmedia offers innovative services such as e-mail newsletter marketing, profiling, and "advertainment." The auctioning and comercial platform "ad-Dore!" enables companies to optimize online campaigns on very short notice.
