07/20/2001 - Bronislav Kvasnicka takes over responsibility for the entire European operations and becomes Chief Operating Officer

Munich, 20. July 2001. ARBOmedia AG strengthens their head quarter management team. Bronislav Kvasnicka has taken on the European wide responsibility for Marketing, Sales and Technology with immediate effect in the position of Chief Operating Officer. Kvasnicka was promoted within ARBOmedia. For ARBOmedia Prague , the largest affiliate of ARBOmedia, the 33 year old has built up the TV and Internet sales business in the past five years. Kvasnicka will be the top head of marketing, sales and technology for all 15 subsidiaries of ARBOmedia.

Within marketing Kvasnicka will be pushing forward the development of an international research department. Sales will support all subsidiaries in developing and implementing sales tools in order to have a premium standard of services in all subsidiaries. The technology department will become under the leadership of Kvasnicka the pacemaker in developing sales tools for advertising sales in the age of new media. Bronislav Kvasnicka comments the future developments: "Our company will be positioning itself in a media landscape which is characterised by a strong trend of fragmentation on one hand and a growing demand for tailored target groups on the other hand as the international and independent sales house to turn to. More than before we will be able to offer our clients and mandates the distinguishing added value."

Bronislav Kvasnicka has vast experience for his new position. After his studies at the technical university of Ilmenau (Ph.D. engineering science) the fluently German, English and French speaking Czech national started as Promotions Manager for radio sales at IP Prague (later ARBOmedia Prague). Further positions held were Head of public radio and print sales, Head of public TV and Internet sales department. In addition to that Kvasnicka worked on a number of innovative projects with which ARBOmedia was a pioneer on the Czech market.
